Wow! Just coming off another killer weekend. We had our monthly member meeting this past Saturday and let me tell you, it had to be one of the most exciting yet. We had nealry a full house, and this was even including a schedule change. We had several members, several guests that became members and killer up-to-the-minute, cutting edge, true to the game - real estate information from our speakers. These are folks that are in the business, that are actively working deals in the Houston, TX.
We started the day off with introductions and our deal offering segment. Yep, we have live deals at every meeting. This is powerful stuff, if you ever had any doubts about doing deals or excuses we don't leave that to chance at our meetings. There is always something for everybody.
Then came Kevin Lui with JK Interests. He has an exclusive offer on a new way to do your due dilligence in Houston or Dallas for that matter. This new software has to be one of the most impressive since it was developed purely with the real estate investor in mind. You really have to check this out. It is definitely a tool you need to have in your tool box.
Can any one say economy, probably not the most optimistic topic, to here CNN tell it, but Cliff Pape, with www.home-buddies.com gave us an awesome view into his way of investing in a so-called "down economy" and topped it off with a talk about credit awareness for real estate investors. Several tips were shared on how to improve your credit, leverage your credit as well as ways to secure lines of credit with local banks. We will have more on that topic as soon as we post the video. So be on the look out;)
Last, but definitely not least we had Lance Edwards. In case you don't know who Lance is, he is only the mindset guy. Yes, mindset. Is yours where it needs to be for real estate investing? Lance is also a multifamily expert. He has bought and sold several multifamily units in Houston, TX over the years and shared with us his Plan B, Turing Crisis into Opportunity. It was powerful to hear what usually holds people back from acheiving their goals and see the difference when they are eventually set free. There will be coming from Lance, and we will be sure to keep you posted, so please be on the look out.
Overall there was plently to be had for all who made it out to the meeting. Tons of networking, plently of deals, and several opportunites to get your real estate career up and going. This is what we are dedicated to and work towards every day.
