My, my how time just goes on by. Here we are just two weeks from the new year and we are gearing up for an awesome 2009.
In '09 we will be Fine. In the words of John Delimmi, "Fired Up!"
In case this sounds a bit naive believe me it is not. Not after hearing Dennis Arocho this past weekend. He had a seminar on leases and options and I must say it was very powerful to say the least.
Now, I am not going to give it all away, but did you know you could secure an option and the sell that option for a wholesale fee? Did you know that options can be recorded just like a deed and lock your position is the deal? Let me tell you it was too cool and more than anything to the point. He even talk about the lease option in Texas. Nothing illegal about this transaction, just got to know how to use it.
Bottom line here is there are several opportunities to make 2009 your best year ever in real estate no matter what the news tells you. I was listening to an interview the other night and the interviewee made a statement and it was, "fear is contagious." You know what, I believe that and guess what I would venture to say that the most of us believe the media when it talks its Constant Negative News. Don't get caught up in the hype.
Leases and options, rehabs and wholesales, we've got it all here at The Wealth Club. In 2009 we will start the year off with our yearly economic forecast featuring Stan Hallet, list goals and start planning with Garret Lambert, talk multifamily with Lance Edwards, and start prepping investors with the knowledge to get their real estate careers going with Gordon Appleby's Armed and Dangerous. Killer Wealth Club Meeting - Real Estate Investing

Wow! Just coming off another killer weekend. We had our monthly member meeting this past Saturday and let me tell you, it had to be one of the most exciting yet. We had nealry a full house, and this was even including a schedule change. We had several members, several guests that became members and killer up-to-the-minute, cutting edge, true to the game - real estate information from our speakers. These are folks that are in the business, that are actively working deals in the Houston, TX.
We started the day off with introductions and our deal offering segment. Yep, we have live deals at every meeting. This is powerful stuff, if you ever had any doubts about doing deals or excuses we don't leave that to chance at our meetings. There is always something for everybody.
Then came Kevin Lui with JK Interests. He has an exclusive offer on a new way to do your due dilligence in Houston or Dallas for that matter. This new software has to be one of the most impressive since it was developed purely with the real estate investor in mind. You really have to check this out. It is definitely a tool you need to have in your tool box.
Can any one say economy, probably not the most optimistic topic, to here CNN tell it, but Cliff Pape, with www.home-buddies.com gave us an awesome view into his way of investing in a so-called "down economy" and topped it off with a talk about credit awareness for real estate investors. Several tips were shared on how to improve your credit, leverage your credit as well as ways to secure lines of credit with local banks. We will have more on that topic as soon as we post the video. So be on the look out;)
Last, but definitely not least we had Lance Edwards. In case you don't know who Lance is, he is only the mindset guy. Yes, mindset. Is yours where it needs to be for real estate investing? Lance is also a multifamily expert. He has bought and sold several multifamily units in Houston, TX over the years and shared with us his Plan B, Turing Crisis into Opportunity. It was powerful to hear what usually holds people back from acheiving their goals and see the difference when they are eventually set free. There will be coming from Lance, and we will be sure to keep you posted, so please be on the look out.
Overall there was plently to be had for all who made it out to the meeting. Tons of networking, plently of deals, and several opportunites to get your real estate career up and going. This is what we are dedicated to and work towards every day.
